Terms of Service

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any course, mentorship, workshop, live event, community, or digital product provided by Hard Edge Games Ltd (“Hard Edge”, “we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase our services, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By purchasing from Hard Edge, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Our Services

Hard Edge provides online education, mentorship, live sessions, recorded lessons, downloadable resources, project files, templates, community access, and other educational materials.

We reserve the right to reasonably update course content, schedules, instructors, platforms, or materials where necessary.

3. Payment

All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be completed in full, or through an approved payment plan, before access is granted.

Failure to complete payment may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

All unpaid balances remain due.

4. Digital Access

Access to digital course materials is granted for the period stated on the course page.

Unless otherwise stated, access is provided for 24 months from the course start date.

Access is licensed, not sold.

Hard Edge reserves the right to modify, replace, archive, or remove materials where reasonably necessary.

5. Refunds and Cancellation

Because our services include digital content and immediate access, by purchasing you expressly consent to delivery beginning immediately and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation rights may end once digital access is granted.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Refund requests submitted 7 days or more before the advertised start date may be considered.

  • Once any course content, downloads, recordings, live sessions, or community access has been accessed, refunds are generally not available.

  • Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed solely at Hard Edge’s discretion.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

6. Account Use

Your account is personal, revocable, and non-transferable.

You may not:

  • share login credentials

  • allow third parties to access your account

  • stream content to non-enrolled individuals

  • display content in classrooms, workplaces, studios, or group environments without written permission

  • allow multiple users to access a single account

Hard Edge may monitor unusual access patterns, IP addresses, device activity, download behaviour, and sharing activity for security and anti-piracy purposes.

Any suspected account sharing may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

7. Intellectual Property and Licence Restrictions

All course materials, project files, videos, documents, branding, source files, templates, downloads, recordings, presentations, code, artwork, workflows, teaching methods, and educational resources remain the exclusive intellectual property of Hard Edge Games Ltd, unless otherwise stated.

Purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence for your own individual learning only.

You may not, without prior written permission:

  • copy

  • reproduce

  • republish

  • redistribute

  • resell

  • sublicense

  • rent

  • lease

  • broadcast

  • publicly display

  • mirror

  • upload

  • torrent

  • scrape

  • archive

  • commercially exploit

…any Hard Edge content in whole or in part.

This includes:

  • YouTube uploads

  • Patreon content

  • Discord servers

  • Google Drive sharing

  • internal company training

  • university teaching

  • bootcamps

  • private mentorship programmes

8. Recording, Downloading, and Screen Capture

Unless explicitly authorised in writing, you may not:

  • screen record

  • livestream

  • screenshot protected materials for redistribution

  • download protected video content

  • extract audio

  • duplicate project files

  • bypass platform protections

Unauthorised recording or distribution may result in immediate legal action.

9. Artificial Intelligence and Data Extraction

You may not use any Hard Edge content, recordings, project files, transcripts, code, artwork, documents, or educational materials to:

  • train AI models

  • fine-tune machine learning systems

  • generate datasets

  • create derivative educational products

  • build competing training materials

…without prior written permission.

10. Student Work

You retain ownership of your original work.

By voluntarily sharing work inside our community, testimonials, portfolio reviews, or feedback sessions, you grant Hard Edge a non-exclusive licence to display your work for educational, promotional, or community purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

11. Session Recordings

Live sessions may be recorded for educational, operational, quality assurance, or training purposes.

By attending live sessions, you consent to your:

  • voice

  • video

  • screen sharing

  • chat messages

  • submitted materials

being included where applicable.

You may not record sessions without written permission.

12. Conduct

We reserve the right to remove access immediately, without refund, for:

  • harassment

  • abuse

  • discrimination

  • plagiarism

  • disruptive behaviour

  • piracy

  • account sharing

  • unauthorised redistribution

  • attempts to copy or commercially exploit our materials

13. Enforcement

Unauthorised copying, sharing, resale, piracy, or misuse of Hard Edge intellectual property may result in:

  • immediate termination

  • revocation of access

  • removal from the community

  • legal recovery of damages

  • recovery of legal costs where permitted

  • injunctive relief

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hard Edge Games Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited under applicable law.

15. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
