Learn the vocabulary and foundational skills that underpin all 3D art, become self-sufficient by creating and integrating your own 3D models and textures, allowing you to prototype and iterate with confidence.
Learn to Utilize Blender
Understand UV mapping
Create Materials with Substance Painter
Get a crash course on lighting and Physically based Rendering.
Learn Blender , Photoshop And Substance Painter
Blueprints / Tooling
A capable tech designer is a core implementor and explorer of new functionality and blueprints are an incredibly important part of their skillset.
Take a step above the training you can find elsewhere, learn programming patterns and correct workflows.
Avoid common pitfalls that will endanger performance.

Advanced Prototyping and Design Implementation
Technical Design is about turning game design ideas into working, flexible gameplay systems.
Learn how to break down popular game systems and understand how they are actually implemented in Unreal Engine.
Design systems that support fast iteration, balancing, and collaboration between design, art, and code.
Understand how to structure gameplay logic in a way that is modular, readable, and scalable.
Recreating popular game systems
Blueprint system architecture
Designer-friendly tools for balancing
Validation and workflow support
C++ (Gas / ImGUI)
Knowing how to implement the Gameplay Ability System in Unreal is a trial by fire that all advanced users go through.
Alongside the ImGui framework it empowers you to create efficient workflows and ship reliable features quickly.
Learn the Gameplay Ability System from the ground up: design modular abilities, build reusable blueprints and C++ components that keep gameplay systems scalable and maintainable.
Use ImGui to prototype and iterate tooling UIs fast: create in-engine debug panels, ability editors, and more.
A capable designer can implement advanced systems and leverage C++ in a variety of scenarios.
Design, iterate, and deliver.

More importantly, I came away with a solid understanding of Blueprints in UE5 and a strong foundation in programming theory. ”
— Mathew Puckey : Game Dev Mentee
“I loved it and it was exactly what I was looking for:
better understanding and practice of Unreal's systems to make a modular and scalable game system. Your knowledge is really impressive and I appreciate all the attention to detail and answering of all our questions.”

"It was the first time I created shaders where I genuinely understood why they worked, not just how to copy them“
Before Hard Edge, I felt stuck, like I was “faking it” technically.
